The birth of the Sagamihara Factory, which is blessed with a natural environment in northern Kanagawa Prefecture, began in 1967 when "Fuji Denso Co., Ltd.", which was founded by separating the solenoid valve division of the Tokyo Factory, was moved to this area. After that, in order to promote the factory modernization plan, the solenoid valve production factory was expanded and remodeled, and the processing department was reduced due to the outsourcing of machining parts manufacturing. (In 1997, when VENN absorbed Fuji Denso Co., Ltd., the name was changed to "VENN Sagamihara Factory.") In 1986, new products were actively developed to meet the growing needs of customers. We will develop VENN's main product, the electromagnetic valve "Momotaro" series.
The Momotaro series expanded its market share in the solenoid valve field and steadily increased its business performance. Since the merger, I will also be in charge of the development and purchasing of outsourced manufacturing products, purchased products, overseas affiliated products, etc., which were carried out at VENN head office. The factory was planned to be renewed after the Great East Japan Earthquake, and the Sagamihara Central Distribution Center, which relocated the distribution center in Yokohama, and the Innovation Center, which took over the training functions of the Iwaki Technology Center, were newly established to create the new Sagamihara Factory.

Welding / surface finishing area
Welding of special magnetic materials and stainless steel materials, which are indispensable for solenoid valve parts, and stainless steel materials and copper alloys. Welded parts are finished by spraying granular sand called shots to polish the surface.
Assembly work area
We assemble the products instructed based on the production plan in the area decided for each product such as solenoid valve, electric valve, shutoff valve. Each area has a dedicated worker who is responsible for parts delivery from the warehouse, assembly, testing, and packing.
Coil manufacturing area
Area where solenoid valve coils are manufactured. Since the work starts with winding the copper wire around the bobbin, it can meet various needs such as special voltage and dedicated coil.
Product inspection area
Area for operation test and airtightness test of assembled products. All inspections are carried out, which is the basis of quality assurance.

The new Sagamihara factory is not just a factory. Based on the concept of "Aiming to be an electronics factory with a training center function equipped with factories and lines that show manufactured products," we have renewed the facility with a training center and a distribution center function. At the time of renewal, as a business supported by industrial revitalization and corporate attraction measures promoted by Kanagawa Prefecture and Sagamihara City, it also has a mission to pursue regional contribution and economic ripple effect.
For this reason, we have set up a training facility in the factory and are actively working on comprehensive learning for elementary and junior high school students and accepting internships. In the factory tour, we explain the series of processes from parts ordering to product shipment with videos and demonstrations, aiming for visitors to understand in a short time with familiarity.
