Since the air in the pipe is automatically discharged at all times, it is ideal for the top of the pipe shaft. In particular, a safe water supply system can be constructed with a direct water supply system or a pressure feed pressure tank water supply system.
Nominal diameter 20: Up to a maximum vertical pipe diameter of 40, Nominal diameter 25: Up to a maximum vertical pipe diameter of 50 (the Tokyo Waterworks Bureau has a maximum vertical pipe diameter of 75).

The major difference between the intake / exhaust valve and the air vent valve is the intake capacity at negative pressure. If the pressure inside the water supply stand pipe drops due to a water outage or an accident, the upper part of the stand pipe becomes negative pressure and there is a risk of backflow (reverse siphon) occurring inside the building.
What is the under-pressure exhaust function?
It operates in the same way as a normal air vent valve, and refers to the function that allows air to be discharged under pressure.
Can it be used to eliminate negative pressure in tanks, etc.?
When using for the purpose of relieving the negative pressure of tanks and other frequently operated equipment, use the AF type air vent valve in combination with the VD-5N type vacuum breaker.
