Emergency shutoff valve EIM-7 type Mechanical emergency shutoff valve (butterfly type)
When the seismic sensor is activated, it acts on the shutoff valve via the release mechanism, and the valve closes with the force of the spring. Restoration is a safer recovery method because the shutoff valve is opened manually after the knob of the seismic sensor is operated and the amplifier is restored.

Major features
- Since it is a mechanical shut-off valve, there is no need for power failure countermeasures (emergency power supply) or electrical equipment work. (Excluding switch wiring for open / close signals)
- It can also be used in mountainous areas where there is no power supply.
- Since the seismic sensor and shutoff valve are installed separately, the seismic sensor can be mounted on a solid stand or a sturdy wall surface that is separate from the piping system, so there is no malfunction due to piping vibration.
- Due to its small size and light weight, it can be easily installed in existing aquariums.

The EIM-2 and 3 series are also available with an optional limit switch (no voltage). The EIM-7 series comes standard with a limit switch (no voltage) on the closed side.
Do you need a power supply?
The mechanical emergency shutoff valve does not require external power such as electrical signals, and does not require a power source because it operates only with the operating force of the seismic sensor due to seismic motion.
