JB-24 type (double type)
View favorites See the comparison
A telescopic pipe joint for 2.0MPa that uses a stainless steel bellows with excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The face-to-face dimensions are the same as the JIS compliant JB-21,22 type.
Where to use
Building equipment / air conditioning equipmentFactory equipment

Major features

  • Durability is improved by adopting a double-layer bellows.
  • All stainless steel is used except the flange.
  • A loose flange is used for the end connection to absorb the displacement of the bolt hole in the circumferential direction.

Frequently Asked Questions and Explanations

Can the direction of rotation be absorbed?

The sleeve type can also absorb the shaft rotation of the pipe. (The bellows type cannot be absorbed and the bellows will be damaged.)

Is the amount of pipe elongation constant regardless of the nominal diameter?

Since the amount of elongation is determined by the temperature difference, it is constant regardless of the nominal diameter of the pipe. However, it depends on the type of pipe (steel, copper, stainless steel).

Is there a rule on whether to use a single type or a double type of expansion joint?

There is no rule. It doesn't matter which one you choose, as long as you select the number of pipes that matches the amount of expansion and contraction of the pipe.
